Estimated nitrogen demand by turfgrasses in the US based upon Growth Potential (GP). To estimate N demand, the maximum monthly cool season GP (C3GP) or warm season GP (C4PG), which ever was higher, was summed over the course of the year for more than 40,000 locations based upon zipcode and 30-year normal average monthly temperature.
