Using phosphites for Pythium control

The availability of phosphites, fungicides with activity against Pythium, has been a positive step in the development of more environmentally friendly pest management programs, especially in the case of biologicals such as Vital, Alude, Fosphite, Magellan and others. These products, which are described in more detail here, have now been more widely tested, and the results show that they are useful, preventive tools for Pythium control. But there are some watch outs.
