Video: Autumn surprise (Pythium on bermudagrass)

Bullseye bermudagrass from a sports field at first seemed to be afflicted by a leaf spot fungus that produced dark lesions on the foliage. However, 12 hours incubation in a moist chamber produced a massive bloom of fungal mycelium that allowed us to ID the pathogen as Pythium. In this video, we'll give you a look at the symptoms we saw on the turf and under the microscope.
