Video: GPS, GIS and sand pits

This video illustrates yet another way that precision turf management can be used to improve agronomic conditions on the golf course. In this case, GPS (global positioning ystems) and GIS (geographic information systems) were used to identify the location of grading problems that were leading to poor surface drainage and turf damage. In the video, we also review how the installation of sand pit drains can help to remedy the situation.
