Video: an introduction to pH

In turf management, we talk a lot about pH. We talk about soil pH and water pH, and spray tank pH. We talk about pH for suppression of diseases like take-all patch and weeds like poa annua, and we talk about the interaction between pH and bicarbonates and nutrient uptake and pesticide performance. The list goes on and on, and although it’s an important topic for turf management, the discussion of pH can get really confusing.
