Controlling silvery thread moss, Bryum argenteum on putting greens is difficult, but there are at least two products — QuickSilver (carfentrazone) and Daconil (chlorothalonil) that are moderately effective. Researchers continue to actively look for new cultural, biological and chemical controls, as outlined and updated in this video.
