Video: Severe layering in a bentgrass green

In this video, we illustrate the severe layering that can develop if a green is sodded with bentgrass and then not aerified to help break down the sod layer. To prevent this problem, bentgrass should be seeded, not sodded, if a low-surface disruption strategy is going to be used to suppress invasion by Poa annua.
