Warning on Imprelis herbicide damage to trees

Dupont's new herbicide, Imprelis (click here for a detailed description), was introduced earlier this year and has been a useful tool for control of a wide variety of broadleaf weeds including ground ivy, violets, and henbit. But recent reports of damage to trees, especially Norway spruce and white pine, mean that caution needs to be exercised in the use of this product, at least until more is known.
