Weird bermudagrass patterns: is Rhizoc involved?

Hybrid bermudagrass is known for its weird growth patterns, such as these wavy formations, or this patchy look, or any number of others. Explanations abound, from frost, to heat, to the phases of the moon. And now, we have one more possible explanation— a suppressed infestation of brown patch caused by Rhizoctonia.
