What are the forecasted disease threats in the weather emails?

The weather page and email weather alerts include Forecasted Disease Threats, with a list of disease threats that changes based on site specific forecast temperatures.

These lists are based on pest threat temperatures. What are these temperatures?

For each key disease, insect or weed pest, we have calculated a threat temperature that predicts when that pest will become active. Each threat temperature is based on data from a variety of sources, including the scientific literature and our own research.
