Couch fungicide synergy theory debunked

Dr. Houston Couch passed away in 2004, leaving behind him a great legacy of turfgrass research and discoveries. In his book, "Diseases of Turfgrass " (1995), Couch described the synergistic interaction between fungicides for control of diseases such as Pythium and dollar spot (Sclerotinia homeocarpa).
