Lightweight rolling has been shown to improve putting green quality, prevent scalping and to suppress dollar spot and anthracnose. In a recent study conducted by Jason Haines, Pender Harbour Golf Club in British Columbia, microdochium patch (aka pink snow mold and fusarium patch caused by Microdochium nivale) was suppressed by rolling.
