El Nino to continue through spring

The El Nino that we reported was finally confirmed in January, 2010, has decided that it will stay around through May, 2010. This weather pattern is due to continued warming of the equatorial Pacific Ocean during February, 2010, according to the U.S. Climate Prediction Center's March 4, 2010 El Nino Report
