Energy use on U.S. golf courses

The recently published GCSAA report, Energy Use and Environmental Practices on U.S. Golf Courses contains a wealth of information on energy sources and energy consumption on U.S. golf courses, in 2008 vs. 2015.

As this graph indicates, golf courses have done a good job, over the past 8 years, at reducing total energy use. Of all energy sources, the greatest decrease was in the use of electricity. There was little or no change in consumption of other sources, however.
