Mini-ring, also known as Rhizoctonia leaf and sheath spot, can cause serious problems on bermuda greens in the Southeast. In a recent Twitter exchange, Dr. Bruce Martin recommended irrigating fungicide applications lightly (2 tuns on the heads, 2-3 min) and avoiding ammonium sulfate fertilizers.
