With increasing interest in precision management and developing management zones at golf courses, interest in geographic information systems (GIS) have been growing. During a recent PACE Turf Advisory Board meeting, we demonstrated some features of Google Earth Pro, a nice feature enhanced version of Google Earth, that allows areas to be measured. The down-side of Google Earth pro is the annual fee of $400.
