Green speed and growth rate

Green speed is faster when grass grows more slowly. That's not shocking news, because we all know that limiting irrigation to keep the grass growing as slowly as possible, limiting nitrogen to keep grass growing slowly, and applying plant growth regulators to further restrict growth, all have an effect on green speed.
