Milorganite as an animal repellent

We have talked in the past about the use of the organic fertilizer Milorganite as a mammal repellent. However, we had only anecdotes — not any hard data — to support this. Now, however, replicated data from the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension provides more concrete evidence.
