Predicting growth from temperature

As the measurement of clipping volume becomes more common, especially for golf course putting greens, I've also found it useful to check how much the grass is growing in relation to the site temperatures. This can be done by considering the growth potential (GP) at the site, and then applying the growth ratio (GR) to convert from GP units into clipping volume units.
