Correcting topdressing rate for overthrow

I visited a golf course while the greens were being topdressed. I asked the superintendent what the sand application rate was. He thought for a few seconds and said it was about 0.6 mm, then checked his notes and told me it was 9 m3 (or 318 ft3) spread over 14,000 m2 (about 3.5 acres) of green area.
