Video: Tales from the field, phosphorus, take, all patch and MLSN

This unusual case of take–all patch was from a new bentgrass green in Northern California. It was unusual because although the fungus Gaeumannomyces graminis does its damage to roots in the late winter and early spring, we rarely see symptoms of take–all patch until late spring or summer. In this video, we describe how low phosphorus levels may have contributed to these early symptoms, and therefore to the early detection of this disease.
